Kathy Kennedy-Dennis from Houston, Texas created "Free To Fly" from a single butterfly panel my mother hand dye-stamped. She cut it to an oval shape, framed it in a pink square, bordered it with a lovely floral print and added appliquéd accent flowers. This little quilt measures 16" x 14" and is really spectacular. It is heavily quilted throughout. Binding is applied by machine, brought to the back, and then hand stitched in place. It is sleeved and ready to hang.
