Kathy Kennedy-Dennis from Houston, Texas created "Wish Granted" from a single zebra panel my mother hand dye-stamped. It is appliquéd onto a swirling background of stars and swoops. Very mystical. A dark purple border ties it all together. A machine quilted string of stars meet perfectly end to end as they travel in gentle curves through the border and setting squares, which echo the star motif. A single pearl is sown to the zebra's ear. The zebra is outlined in quilting as are many of the background fabric elements. This is a stunning quilt, measuring 13" x 13". Binding is applied by machine, brought to the back, and then hand stitched in place. It is sleeved and ready to hang. You'll have no trouble finding a place in your home for this qulit.
