Here's my l Puppus Doggus quilt. The top right hand block has ears that flap. Another has a collar made from a gold chain bracelet my daughter didn't want any longer, and there are several with real dog licenses. The dog bones in the sashing are fused and button-hole stitched by hand. All the dogs and the center cat block were needle-turned and hand appliquéd. The center block "kitty" has a toy mouse swinging free and tiny little appliquéd mice with braided embroidery floss tails running around her. My youngest daughter (25) was to get this quilt to hang in her white and beige apartment. (It needs punch!) However, I love it and so does my two-year-old granddaughter so it may stay at Grammy's!
