If you've got a yard of fabric, you've got it made.
Step 1: Fold fabric right sides together, selvage edges even. Trim both raw edges so that if you were to unfold the fabric, you'd have a rectangle 32" by the WOF (width of fabric). Don't bother trimming off the selvage edges.
Step 2: With raw edges even, sew the long side and one short side with a seam allowance wide enough to clear the selvage edge on the long side. Zigzag the short side seam. (It will look very much like a pillow case at this point already.)
Step 3: To hem, fold under opening of pillowcase ¼" to wrong side and press. Fold ¼" again and stitch close to first fold to finish pillowcase.
Step 4: Turn right side out. Press, fold, wrap, and give!
