I began this quilt for my parents 50th wedding anniversary by reading every book available on Photo Transfer Quilts. I then came back to the first one I read Ami's Creating Scrapbook Quilts. It gave me the courage to be creative and have fun. I used lots of buttons, crosstitch, silk ribbon embroidery, doilies cut into pieces to embellish my quilt. I don't know what was more fun choosing the photos, seeing it come together, or the look on my parents faces when they saw the finished piece.
