I was in your class at Pigeon Forge, and my dog Ariel is like Daisy. They have much in common. I made one block in class and then finished the second. The next week we had our grandchildren, ages 13 and 9, for spring break. The kids have six cats and two dogs. They thought it was so neat that they wanted to make blocks too!! Before we did it, Ashleigh and I went shopping for wild material. They turned out much better! And of course, we couldn't forget the cats!! I made the two light blocks, Ashleigh made the colorful dog blocks and the one of the cat at the top waving his paw. Michael did the kitty at the bottom and sewed on buttons. I finished it this week as a wall hanging and we will put the dogs and cats names' on it as well as our initials. Three of the animals have left us, (2 cats and a dog), so it's also a memorial or memory quilt for them. Sharon Iiames
