This is one of the coolest non-quilty, but very fabric-y projects I've played around with in a long time. Cut strips, wrap clothesline (oh my!), and zigzag it together. Susan's photographs of her amazing baskets are mouthwatering! Endless possibilities! It's the color and the texture and I just can't get enough of them. This is a GREAT book!
I find the wrapping process goes MUCH more easily if I cut strips on the bias. Susan says any way is fine and gives directions for cutting crossgrain strips. Purchase the book here and get my "folding recipe" for very easy bias strips with a rotary cutter FREE.
I'll also throw in FREE directions to make a Power Wrapper out of a large quilting hoop which will cut your wrapping time in half.
