I made this quilt for my sister's birthday, Sept. 1999. On a recent visit to Pennsylvania. I brought back pictures of my sister, our Mom, Dad, our children and nieces and nephews. I love your photo quilts and have always wanted to make a special quit - this was it! I incorporated an old photo into each log cabin block. On the back of the quilt I wrote each person's name and parent so we have a record or history for my sister's children.
My sister said she was "blown away” and said she never has received anything so special. She said she showed it to anyone who would look at it. It's an heirloom that she will pass on to her children. I've never enjoyed working on a quilt as much as I did this one. You have inspired me and I thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us.
