What a fabulous product! I bought your Photos-To-Fabric® a few weeks ago. I was volunteered to make the auction quilt for the Kindergarten class at my daughter's school.
The teachers took black and white photos of the kiddoos, and printed them. I used your paper to color copy them, then transferred them to the fabric you provided.
The copy shop was wary at first. They had tried this before with another product, and had not had good results. The copy shop and I were both thrilled at how easy this was, and how great the pictures turned out.
I trimmed the photos then appliqued them to large fabric flowers fussy cut from a jungle-y print. I appliqued those to a floral background, added some leaves, a sky, and a batik sun. Voila—“The Kinder Garden Quilt.”
The winning bid at auction was $400. Not bad for a large crib/small twin sized quilt.
The first photo is the whole quilt, with the daughter of the winning bidders. She's one of my Daisy Girl Scouts, too. The second photo is a close up of my daughter's flower.
I just thought you'd like to know you have another happy customer. I already subscribe to your newsletter (and fall out of my chair laughing) every month. I've also had the great pleasure of hearing you speak at my guild, the Arapahoe County Quilters, in Denver, CO. That was the mid 1990's sometime. I don't remember exactly—I just know that was B. C.: Before Children.
Thanks again for your creativity and hard work.
