Annie included dress scraps from outfits she made her daughter when Maggie was a little girl. Every scrap tells a story. She even pieced photo-transfers on the back of her quilt and framed them with patches from a scrap quilt made by Annie's grandmother from scraps from Annie's dresses. She spent many hours carefully ripping the old quilt to salvage the best patches. Maggie's interest in music (she was co-drum major her senior year) is represented throughout the quilt.
