Please, we need your help! Many venues need additional help to white glove the exhibit. White Glovers keep the quilts safe from people who want to touch and photograph them. More importantly they are there for emotional support. This, as you can imagine, is a very moving exhibit. People need to be comforted. If you don't mind sobbing a little in public, offering hugs to complete strangers, and really making a difference for a few hours, this job is for you. Please don't expect admission discounts or any other perks. This is strictly volunteer. If you are interested, learn how to be a Spiritual Caregiver, and email the person coordinating each venue to volunteer. If time is short, just show up and ask if you are needed at the AAQI table at the exhibit. Contact the person listed by the venue at which you would like to white glove.
